RED ROCK –  Today, the Cook Political Report shifted the race for Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District from a “Toss Up” to a “Lean Democrat” in favor of former Marine and Democratic nominee JoAnna Mendoza.

“Southern Arizonans are sick and tired of their representative being an absent rubber stamp for a president who has done nothing to address the affordability crisis,” said campaign spokesperson Kyle McCarthy.“We’re taking nothing for granted in this final stretch–ratings changes like this only motivate our team to hit the pavement harder than ever.”

In quarter three, Mendoza outraised Ciscomani over 2:1.

“The president, who only carried this district by a point in 2024, is a heavy anchor on Ciscomani…Both parties will invest in this race to the end,” the write-up notes.
