The piece describes the actions of her opponent, Juan Ciscomani, to support tariffs that jack up prices, vote for the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that knocked Arizonans off their health insurance and SNAP coverage, cut clean energy tax cuts that supported thousands of jobs in Arizona, voted to DOGE the VA and lay off staff, increasing wait times, and voted six times in support of the Iran War, a senseless conflict that has sent gas and diesel prices skyrocketing.

The article detailed Mendoza’s commitment to end reckless tariffs, reverse Medicaid and SNAP cuts, expand apprenticeships and technical education programs, and reverse tax cuts for billionaires and the ultrawealthy.
